“He is back” Jadon Sancho set to return to Manchester United squad vs Nottingham Forest

Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial will rejoin Manchester United’s matchday squad for the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

Sancho hasn’t been a member of a United team since November, and he hasn’t competed since the October 22 1-1 draw with Chelsea. Since the middle of December, he has taken some time off from the team, but earlier this month he returned to group training at Carrington.

Martial’s season has been plagued by injuries, and he hasn’t played since being substituted during halftime of the Manchester derby earlier this month, despite nursing a knock.

Scott McTominay won’t play for United against Forest at Old Trafford, and the Scot is questionable to play against Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend.

Ten Hag admitted to MUTV, “We have some problems. “I believe Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho will rejoin the football team tomorrow, but Scott McTominay will remain out.

“I believe he will be absent for the upcoming game [against Crystal Palace] . We must wait to see how that procedure plays out. Besides that, I believe everyone is healthy.

Christian Eriksen’s three-month absence from the United squad is expected as a result of an ankle injury sustained as a result of an Andy Carroll tackle during the weekend’s FA Cup victory against Reading. United is currently dealing with a number of injuries. Donny van de Beek, a fellow midfielder, has already been out for the year.
