At Old Trafford today, Manchester United defeated Everton 2-0 to retake third place in the Premier League standings.

Anthony Martial, a second-half substitute, and Scott McTominay both scored goals for United.

Manchester United had 64% of the possessions compared to Everton’s 36%. 29 rounds were fired by Erik ten Hag’s team, 11 of which found their target.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka played a key role in United’s triumph. The English defender onto the field before Diogo Dalot and gave Erik ten Hag a good performance in return for his trust.

He made 88 touches of the ball. Defensively, the right-back played brilliantly, as one would anticipate from Wan-Bissaka.

Five of the seven ground fights the 25-year-old competed in were won by him. Moreover, he cleared four balls and recovered five.

Wan-Bissaka made two tackle attempts and was successful in both of them, giving him a 100% success rate.

The Manchester United star displayed outstanding performance both on offense and defense. On offense, Wan-Bissaka completed two critical passes.

He made four dribbling attempts, three of which were successful.

Currently, Wan-Bissaka is giving Dalot a run for his money in the right-wing position. He more than holds his own and consistently provides Ten Hag with interesting options to consider when selecting a team.
