£100,000-per-week Chelsea attacker asked to leave Stamford Bridge

It has been suggested that the Chelsea winger quit Stamford Bridge.

Hakim Ziyech, a winger for Chelsea, was advised to quit Stamford Bridge and rejoin former manager Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United. In 92 games for the Blues, Ziyech has scored 14 goals but has only played once this season in the Premier League.

Ziyech is crucial to Morocco’s success at the world cup, thus it comes as a shock that he wasn’t selected by Chelsea earlier.

One would anticipate that a player of his caliber would be a fixture in the Chelsea lineup, but that is not the case. Mustafa El Haddaoui, a former midfielder for Morocco, wants him to quit Chelsea and sign with Manchester United.

El Haddaoui stated to Stats Perform and Corriere dello Sport that Erik ten Hag, the former manager of Ajax, wanted him to leave Chelsea for Manchester United.

He will recover, but Chelsea needs to let him go during the winter transfer window.

Not just El Haddaoui believes that Hakim Ziyech will benefit from a transfer away from Stamford Bridge. Joe Cole, a former Chelsea star, concurs:

“He just seems to be playing for Morocco with more happiness. He has struggled mightily at Chelsea and lacks consistency in his play.

“The Premier League is inappropriate for him. It’s aggressive and fluctuates. The Ajax team would frequently play through the lines if he hugged the touchline while playing for them. Give him the ball, and his lovely left foot will allow him to come inside and pass the ball.

However, when we’ve observed him play here, he’s been smiling and playing with intensity. Ziyech is a gifted young man, but Chelsea hasn’t been the right fit for him. As reported by Football.London, Joe Cole said

On Saturday evening, Morocco will play Portugal in a World Cup qualifying match for the semifinals. Ziyech will have the chance to lead his nation to victory.
