According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has a slim probability of leaving Chelsea in January despite interest from Barcelona.
Barcelona is eager to re-sign Aubameyang and is scrambling for legal clarification of the circumstance.
Under Chelsea head coach Graham Potter, Aubameyang’s future is in doubt, and Barcelona wants to secure his return to the Camp Nou on a free transfer.
Aubameyang only joined Chelsea from Barcelona in September, thus according to Fifa regulations, he may only play for one of the two teams for the balance of the season.
“I think there’s a slight chance he could still go this month,” Dean Jones told GiveMeSport.
“Obviously, it’s complicated. However, if Barcelona could do it, I believe it is not impossible.
Since moving to Chelsea, Aubameyang has struggled to regain his prior level of play, scoring only three goals in 17 games.
