£30,000 a week star has agreed to join Man United – Journalist Confirm

Despite interest from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli club, Manchester United appears to be in full control of the transfer situation regarding the midfielder.

Al-Ahli is actively pursuing the Moroccan international, who has already agreed to personal terms with Manchester United, as reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla. However, Amrabat has made it clear that his preference is to move to Manchester United.

Currently earning £30,000 per week at Fiorentina, Amrabat reportedly received a salary increase from the Middle Eastern club this summer. His contract with Fiorentina, worth £1.5 million a year, is set to expire next summer, leading the Italian club to consider selling him for approximately £26 million.

Fiorentina has already signed Juventus’ Arthur, who can play in various positions in midfield, providing them with additional options in that area.

While Manchester United seems to hold the upper hand in the negotiations, discussions with Fiorentina are still ongoing to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.

Amrabat is reportedly a top priority on Erik ten Hag’s wish list, particularly after Kobbie Mainoo’s ankle injury, which may sideline the 18-year-old defensive midfielder for the opening months of the upcoming season. Ten Hag has been keen to strengthen the depth of his midfield options.
