Evening Standard reports that Chelsea worry that Thiago Silva’s medial cruciate ligament injury will keep him out until April.
Thiago received another evaluation and a scan after returning to the training center on Monday after suffering a knee injury during the first half of Sunday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur, according to a statement issued by Chelsea on Tuesday morning.
Thiago will now work closely with the club’s medical staff throughout his rehabilitation to return to competition as soon as possible. “Scan findings from those evaluations have indicated damage to Thiago’s knee ligaments.”
