Agbonlahor urges the late Manchester United player, “Don’t listen to these dinosaurs.”

After Jesse Lingard moved to Nottingham Forest from Manchester United, Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former player for Aston Villa, advised Lingard to “ignore the dinosaurs.”

After deciding to sign with the Premier League’s newest team, the England international has drawn a lot of criticism from both fans and commentators.

According to reports from England, the 29-year-old will earn almost £130,000 each week, plus bonuses.

After 22 years at Old Trafford and the expiration of his United contract, Lingard was a free agent.

The midfielder had interest from West Ham United but ultimately chose Forest, delaying the start of the Premier League season by two weeks.

However, Agbonlahor, a former Aston Villa striker, advised Lingard to block out the noise.

“I feel like a lot of the dinosaurs, the older generation, need to zip it and get on with it,” he said in an interview with talkSPORT.

“Good for him if he wants to perform for J-Lingz, dance, or use TikTok.

“Don’t pay attention to these dinosaurs, Simon Jordans, Richard Keys, and the rest of these bozos. Jesse, do what you want to do.
