A meeting with Todd Boehly, owner of Chelsea, has been confirmed by Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona.
He asserted that they just discussed football and that the LaLiga team did not make Frenkie de Jong available to the Blues.
This summer, Barca beat Chelsea to the signings of Raphinha and Jules Kounde, but Laporta insists there is no animosity between the two clubs.
“We have never made de Jong available to Chelsea. Not at all. In Barcelona, we had a lovely supper with Boehly and discussed football.
Boehly is a remarkable individual. Chelsea is without an issue.
Laporta explained, “It just so happens that some of the players they liked, we did as well.
