Breaking News: Erik ten Hag Makes Bold Statement About Man United Midfielder’s Future

In a recent development, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has informed midfielder Scott McTominay that his presence is no longer desired at the club and that he is free to depart during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to reports from TalkSPORT, the Scottish international has been given the green light to seek opportunities elsewhere, primarily due to his limited playing time in the previous season. Although McTominay began the season as a regular starter under Erik ten Hag, his position in the starting lineup was soon usurped by Casemiro, who joined the team from Real Madrid.

Over the course of the season, the 26-year-old Scot started in 10 out of 24 league matches, managing to score a single goal. As a result, Manchester United is now contemplating utilizing McTominay as part of a potential deal to entice Declan Rice, who is a target for Arsenal, to Old Trafford.

Reports indicate that the Red Devils are preparing an offer that includes a player exchange along with cash to acquire the services of the West Ham United captain. In this scenario, McTominay would move in the opposite direction and join David Moyes’ side, as the West Ham manager is said to hold a high regard for the midfielder.

It is worth noting that McTominay has been associated with Manchester United throughout his entire career, having progressed through their youth ranks before making his debut in 2017.
