Breaking News: Liverpool to hijack Chelsea’s move for £100million player if Jordan Henderson and Fabinho leave

talkSPORT reports that if Liverpool lose Jordan Henderson and Fabinho this summer, they will compete with Chelsea to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Jordan Henderson is on the brink of a move to Saudi club Al-Ettifaq, where he is set to earn £700,000 per week. Meanwhile, Fabinho has attracted interest from Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

The potential departures of these experienced midfielders will leave Liverpool lacking depth in that area, despite the recent signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool may enter the race to sign Caicedo, who is valued at £100 million by Brighton.

Currently, Chelsea is considered the frontrunner in the pursuit of Caicedo this summer, although an agreement on the transfer fee between Chelsea and Brighton has yet to be reached.

Caicedo himself expressed his strong desire to join Chelsea this week, stating that he couldn’t turn down the opportunity to join the Blues and describing Chelsea as a “beautiful team.”
