BREAKING: Title-winning manager still in contention to get Chelsea job, Boehly wants to speak to him again

There are rumors that Chelsea and Julian Nagelsmann may speak again soon.

Julian Nagelsmann, who has never held a job in England previously, is strongly linked in the media to the open managerial role at Chelsea.

The Blues can take their time choosing the next permanent manager because Frank Lampard will continue as the club’s interim manager till the end of the current season.

According to the most recent information, the West London club is doing a thorough search.

According to The Telegraph, Nagelsmann is one of the front-runners to succeed Antonio Conte as Chelsea’s manager right now.

He is reportedly under “increasing competition” from Mauricio Pochettino.

After interviewing Nagelsmann last week, Chelsea will reportedly now speak with him once again.

According to reports, the Blues board was impressed by the 35-year-old coach following early consultations. However, Todd Boehly and the Blues’ management want to talk further.

The fact that he has no prior Premier League experience is a disadvantage to recruiting him. On the other side, he has achieved success in his managerial career. Last year, he managed Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title.

Despite his squad being in the mix for greater success this season, he was dismissed by Bayern last month and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

On the Talking Transfers podcast this week, journalist Graeme Bailey disclosed that Nagelsmann “really, really wants” to manage Chelsea.

It will be intriguing to see if the German coach can keep up his excellent interview performance.

He has a rather respectable resume for someone so young, having made an impact at Bayern, RB Leipzig, and Hoffenheim.

Will Chelsea finally consent to extend to him his first important role in England?
