‘Chaos’ – Mikel Arteta rules out start for Arsenal player in Leeds PL clash

Since the World Cup, the Brazilian forward has been absent from his club for a couple of months, and he only returned to action in March for the Gunners without making a start. He played for 38 minutes against Fulham and Crystal Palace, and it does not seem that he will play for more than 45 minutes against Javi Gracia’s squad.

As per Football London, Arteta said on March 31, “He’s very close to that [starting] .” The forward has progressed significantly in the last ten days, appearing more serene and less anxious, and has been causing mayhem in training. He’s presently in an excellent position.”

It is a perplexing matter.

Despite the fact that their striker will not be starting, Arsenal has numerous players who can pose problems for Leeds. The Gunners have been a distinct entity at home this season, with players such as Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard having the potential to be game-changers every time they take the field.

Leeds has an advantage in this match due to the absence of William Saliba, but it remains to be seen how Gracia will counter this. He has suggested employing a two-striker system, and whether or not he employs it against Arsenal is something to ponder.

This will undoubtedly catch Arteta off guard, as he would expect his Spanish counterpart to adopt a more cautious approach in this match. Gracia has shown a capacity to adapt based on the opponent, and he will undoubtedly have a plan in mind for the league leaders.
