Chelsea will lose approximately a half-dozen current first-team players if they do not extend their existing contracts by the summer of 2024.
1. Cesar Azpilicueta,
Last summer, the West London club offered the Spanish national a two-year deal. Cesar Azpilicueta became the first Chelsea player to win every conceivable championship with the West London club after helping the Blues win the FIFA Club World Cup last year. He was set to join Barcelona last summer until Chelsea extended his contract till 2024.
2. Aubameyang, Pierre Emerick
Gabonese Progression He joined the Blues from Barcelona last summer. His current deal will end in 2024. He was expected to depart West London during the just closed Winter transfer window, but he subsequently decided to remain and battle for his place.
3.Mason Mount
The Chelsea midfielder’s contract will end in 2024. Chelsea does not want to lose him and has attempted to persuade him to extend his contract, but the two parties have yet to reach an agreement.
6. Christian Pulisic is number four.
In 2019, the American Winger joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund. He has been inconsistent at Chelsea, and the club may move him next summer in order to avoid losing him to the open market in 2024.
5. Loftus-Cheek, Ruben
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, like Christian Pulisic, has failed to remain consistent at Chelsea. His contract is also set to end in 2024.
6. Mateo Kovavic’s
The former Real Madrid star was crucial to Chelsea’s European triumph in 2021. The Croatian National has struggled with fitness in recent seasons, and there is presently no discussion of extending his contract.
