Checkout the Amount Chelsea would lose for sacking Graham Potter

Chelsea Football Club is expected to incur significant expenses following the dismissal of their Manager, Graham Potter. The decision to terminate Potter’s contract was announced on Sunday evening, following the team’s 2-0 loss to Aston Villa during their home game on Saturday.

Potter had been appointed at Stamford Bridge in September and had served as the team’s manager for 31 games. During his tenure, the team recorded 12 victories, 8 draws, and 10 losses. The Englishman had signed a five-year deal with the club that was worth an estimated £12 million per annum, resulting in a total contract value of £60 million.

To terminate the contract, Chelsea will be required to pay the remaining amount in full. As Potter had already served half a year, the estimated cost of the procedure is expected to be approximately £50 million. Additionally, Potter had brought several members of his backroom staff with him to the west London club, and the club is expected to cover the cost of their payouts as well. This expense may result in the overall cost exceeding £60 million.

Chelsea’s decision to terminate Potter’s contract will undoubtedly result in a significant financial burden for the club. The impact of this decision on the team’s future performance is yet to be determined. However, it is expected that the club will undertake a thorough search for a suitable replacement to ensure continued success on the field.
