Chelsea chiefs still believe in Graham Potter potential said he should have been given more time

Funny how some Chelsea executives still think Potter should be given more time despite all of his failures there since he has a lot of promise and more to offer the team.

The former Brighton manager wasn’t prepared for the Blues position, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali concede.

Following Thomas Tuchel’s firing, Potter was hired by the new Chelsea board, a move that they also acknowledge was a mistake.

The Daily Mail claims that Potter’s ability and prospective ascension to the top of the game are still supported by Chelsea’s management, though.

Chelsea bought Potter from Brighton for a record-breaking £21.5 million.
