Chelsea has now make move for “remarkable” 17 goal star to help solve urgent issue

A recent report indicates that Chelsea is interested in bringing in Goncalo Ramos from Benfica and Portugal during the summer transfer season.

Is a striker needed by the Blues this summer?
The Champions League is the only thing that can salvage the Blues’ season at this point, but given their present play, it looks improbable. The Blues have had a season to forget thus far. Performances and outcomes have just fallen short, and there have been problems both on and off the field, ranging from injured midfielders to goalkeepers who are out of form.

The absence of a true goal scorer to lead the line has been another problem. Although not a natural in the position, Kai Havertz has occasionally displayed effectiveness, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been largely ignored. Chelsea needs a top-notch No 9 to sign this summer and fix this issue if they are to finish in the top four next season.

The Napoli star Victor Osimhen has probably been the best attacking option for the Blues in recent weeks, and now a new development has come to light.

Ramos might end up playing at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Portuguese publication Record (via Sport Witness), Chelsea will send personnel to see Benfica play Porto on Friday night, with Todd Boehly’s attendance potentially a “possibility.” They say they’ll be there to watch Ramos, but they also say they’ll “take notes” on the other players.

The 21-year-old forward has already been associated with the Blues, and he seems to be a key target before the summer transfer window.

If Chelsea can finalize a deal, Ramos might be a highly exciting addition because the seven-cap Portuguese international would likely join as a significant player and long-term addition given their striker shortage.

With 17 goals in 22 games this season, he has been a dominant force in the Primeira Liga. However, he also excelled on a big stage at the World Cup last winter, scoring a hat-trick against Switzerland after replacing Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting lineup. Gary Lineker dubbed his performance in Qatar as “remarkable.”

Ramos would also be a strong addition to the team, bringing the goals, youth, and natural attacking instincts needed at Stamford Bridge before the start of next season. While Osimhen is arguably the best possible option for the Blues to sign because he is a little more experienced and is having a fantastic season for Serie A champions-elect Napoli, Ramos would also be a strong addition to the squad.
