Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali has send message to Graham Potter ahead of Tottenham Hotspur clash

According to The Telegraph, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, owners of Chelsea, have told Graham Potter that they do not intend to fire him before Sunday’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

This is true even though Chelsea has only won two of its last 14 Premier League contests.

After Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Southampton at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, some Chelsea supporters called for Potter to be fired. But, Potter has apparently received expressions of support from the Chelsea board.

Following their joint attendance at the Southampton loss at Stamford Bridge, Boehly is apparently going to watch the Tottenham Hotspur game, while Eghbali is likely to observe the Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund contests.

Boehly and Eghbali are willing to support Potter through the remainder of the season and won’t evaluate him until after he has led Chelsea for an entire season.

Boehly and Eghbali apparently harbor the hope that success and improved play may persuade Chelsea supporters who have been screaming for Potter’s dismissal to reconsider their position.
