Chelsea Star player reportedly rejects new 6-year-contract offer
According to a story from the previous evening, Chelsea’s new owners had allegedly had a player reject another agreement offer as of right now.
The Blues have a few players that they are now attempting to potentially secure to new contracts with because some deals are about to expire.
Even though Edouard Mendy’s contract isn’t exactly nearing its end right now, Chelsea has reportedly tried to extend it by another six years, according to a story in The Sun.
They promise Mendy believes Chelsea is undercompensating by not treating him with enough “regard.” “Edouard is once again at Chelsea and he is prepared to play,” an insider told SunSport. However, there is a feeling that the agreement situation will remain unchanged.
Mendy is highly desired by Monaco, AC Milan, and Decent.
I find it difficult to believe they have recently offered Mendy a 6-year contract given the fact that Graham Potter hasn’t been selecting him as his usual number one. For now, I’d take this with a grain of salt.
