Cristiano Ronaldo told only way he can return to Man Utd’s starting XI

Richard Dunne, a former captain of Manchester City, has given Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo instructions on how to get back into the team’s starting lineup for the current campaign.

Having played in more than 400 Premier League games, Dunne thinks Ronaldo should focus on scoring goals.

Remember that Ronaldo has only been included in the starting lineup for Man United’s game against Brentford on August 13 thus far this season under manager Erik ten Hag.

He’s been virtually superhuman his entire career. You’re trying to convince a player who is accustomed to scoring absurd goals and hat tricks, “You’re a 10 or 15-minute man now.” Dunne remarked, “I don’t even know if Ronaldo is that (via the Daily Star).

“For him, he wants to come on and make an impact,” he continued. He has demonstrated a constant desire to shoot when he is on. He nearly needs to refrain from contributing to the buildup. Simply remain inside the penalty area and let the other players do the running and moving.

“You still can’t even give Ronaldo a yard if you’re a center-half and you have him. You constantly have things to do and are looking for assistance. He doesn’t need to move about as other players are already doing that. He simply needs to accept himself a little bit better as is.
