DONE DEAL: Chelsea reach agreement to sign defender from Premier League club
According to The Athletic, Chelsea is on the verge of finalizing the acquisition of Ishe Samuels-Smith from Everton for a fee of approximately £4 million.
The 17-year-old defender has agreed to a three-year contract with Chelsea.
Samuels-Smith has spent his early career at Everton, progressing through the ranks and representing the club at the Under-18 and Under-21 levels.
He has also represented England in the Under-15, Under-16, and Under-17 categories, and recently, he was the sole English player named in the UEFA team of the tournament at the UEFA Under-17 European Championships held earlier this summer.
