Fabrizio Romano drops big Man United transfer update on extraordinary star

Kim Min-jae, a defender for Napoli, and Manchester United have “had conversations” over a summer transfer, claims transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Who will represent Kim Min-jae?

Kim’s contract reportedly has a €56 million (£49 million) release clause that goes into effect in the summer, but there are other teams fighting for his services, making a transfer challenging to complete.

The center-back is reportedly a target for Chelsea, who are “ready to offer” a contract. Additionally listed as prospective suitors are Manchester City and Newcastle United, the latter of which sent scouts to observe his performances.

Romano has now provided an update on Erik ten Hag’s pursuit of the defender, claiming that Manchester United intends to activate the defender’s release clause and offer him four times his current wage.

In an interview with GiveMeSport, the transfer expert explained when the South Korean player’s release clause will go into effect and stated that the player has already been contacted directly.

The Italian explained, “Kim Min-jae’s release clause is only effective during the first few days of July. Manchester United cannot move forward since it is invalid both now and in June.

They are able to communicate with the player’s side, and they have interacted with the player because they are interested.

Who is Kim Min-jae, exactly?

The 26-year-old began to establish himself at Fenerbahce last season, where he made 31 appearances in the Super Lig and displayed exceptional defensive skills, averaging 2.3 interceptions and 4.1 clearances per game, the greatest numbers in the team.

Since then, the 6 foot 3 colossus has flourished with Napoli, averaging a 7.24 Sofascore rating in Serie A this season, the third-highest mark in the team, mostly due to his exceptional defensive skills.

The South Korean international leads the squad with averages of 2.8 aerials and 1.2 interceptions won per game in Serie A this season. His fourth-highest pass success rate also reflects his confidence in possession.

Khvicha Kvartskhelia, Kim’s teammate, praised him as “extraordinary,” and Man United should now start contract talks with him since he would be a great addition this summer.
