Fabrizio Romano reveals three players Chelsea could sign before the January transfer window closes

Chelsea may recruit Malo Gusto of Lyon, Enzo Fernandez of Benfica, and Moises Caicedo of Brighton before the January transfer window ends, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

This January, Chelsea has already spent €180 million on new additions, but more are anticipated before the transfer market shuts.

On his YouTube channel, Romano claimed, “They’ve had an opening bid for Malo Gusto, the right-back of Olympique Lyon, it’s true – an introductory verbal bid was rejected.

“Lyon… suggested to Chelsea that they hold the player on loan for six months before letting him join them in the summer, but Chelsea want the guy right away.

Chelsea and the player have a contract. Gusto acknowledged that he might join Chelsea, but it would depend on the clubs.

According to what I’ve been told, Chelsea attempted to contact Benfica once more for Enzo Fernandez a week ago in a covert manner, Romano said.

“At the beginning of the transfer market, Benfica was in the same situation. 120 million euros or nothing, they said. Rui Costa has the title of Benfica president.

Romano concluded by announcing that Chelsea was “Exploring the Possibility” of acquiring Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.

Brighton has already turned down Chelsea’s offer for Caicedo.
