Following Graham Potter’s firing, it has been revealed that Chelsea legend Frank Lampard will serve as the team’s temporary manager till the completion of the current campaign.
The former midfielder, who played for Chelsea for 13 years, has agreed to serve as interim manager of the club until the end of the 2022–23 season.
When asked to address Chelsea supporters after being named the club’s temporary manager, Lampard responded, “I’m really thankful for the ones that are thrilled. Those that aren’t can rest certain that I’ll do all in my power to build them a squad they can be proud of.
“I don’t need to go into too much detail regarding my interactions with Chelsea supporters. They have given me a lot of support, and I will always be grateful for it.
