Forget Kante as £100,000K a-week Chelsea star set to become a ‘provider of assists’ to Cristiano Ronaldo if he completes Saudi move

Ignore Kante’s weekly salary of £100,000 If he completes the Saudi move, the Chelsea star will become a “provider of assists” for Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to reports, Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea has been nominated by Saudi powerhouse Al Nassr as a potential chance maker for Cristiano Ronaldo in the event of a transfer.

The Portuguese legend has made an impression in Saudi Arabia after arriving at Mrsool Park in January. For Al Nassr, the 38-year-old has scored 14 goals in 19 games in all competitions.

Cristiano Ronaldo, however, was unable to assist Faris Najd in winning the Saudi Pro League championship. They came in behind Al Ittihad by five points, but they had more goals scored overall.

Ziyech’s future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain as a result of his decline in Chelsea’s hierarchy. Only nine of the season’s 24 games that the 30-year-old began saw him contribute three assists.

At his old team Ajax, the Moroccan was hailed as one of Europe’s best creative wingers. In 165 appearances at the Johan Cruyff Arena, he contributed 81 assists.

Ziyech has two years left on his deal, but he might be the most well-known player to join the Saudi Pro League recently. The emergence of Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked an influx of top talent in the Middle East.

Karim Benzema, a former teammate of his from Real Madrid, and N’Golo Kante, a former teammate of Ziyech’s from Chelsea, have joined Saudi champions Al Ittihad. The Blues forward appears to be the Saudi league’s next target.
