France international Star Player wants Chelsea despite Manchester United interest
According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea is becoming more optimistic about signing AS Monaco center defender Benoit Badiashile despite competition from Manchester United.
The French publication confirmed that Chelsea had made an earlier offer of € 40 million (about £35 million) for the 21-year-old this week.
Chelsea and Monaco have not yet reached an agreement, but the negotiations are expected to go well.
According to the article, a source close to Chelsea concurs that Badiashile is drawn to the position at Chelsea and is certain that the arrangement is doing well.
The defender is still anticipated to cost Chelsea approximately €40 million, however there may be some last details to work out between the two teams.
Manchester United is also interested in France’s national team, but Chelsea is undoubtedly the front-runner in the race, according to Foot Mercato.
Curiously, Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports claims that Badiashile has proactively negotiated personal conditions with the Blues.
He claims that his serenity-ready, antagonism, and forcing boosted attributes have pleased Chelsea.
The Monaco group back has a left foot as well, which is ideal for a left-sided group defender.
Fabrizio Romano, a columnist, argues that the agreement is now in its final phases.
