“Go to Arsenal” Ally McCoist tells 24-year-old to sign for the Gunners rather than Manchester United

Ally McCoist thinks Declan Rice should choose Arsenal over Manchester United this summer.

Speaking on TalkSPORT (5/6 8:53am), McCoist shared his thoughts on what is anticipated to be one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.

Declan Rice will make an effort to avoid thinking about his conceivable future.

He is currently preparing for what may be the most significant game of his club career.

Wednesday’s Europa Conference League Final will feature West Ham vs. Fiorentina.

A European title is the only way to go, especially because the 24-year-old will likely retire this summer.

Rice has recently been linked to a number of organizations, including Manchester United and Arsenal, but McCoist thinks he should stay in London.

Mikel Arteta would be overjoyed if The Emirates ended up being his final visit.

Additionally, it puts him and West Ham in an excellent position to reach an agreement.

The Gunners will want to avoid becoming embroiled in another negotiation with a rival after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk in January.

McCoist advises Rice to transfer from Man United to Arsenal.
When asked about the 24-year-old’s future, McCoist said, “It’s a weird one. For the duration of the weekend and the entire season, if I were Declan Rice, I would probably pick Arsenal over Manchester United.

Even though I am aware that Manchester United won the League Cup, when I watch them over the weekend, they seem to be four or five players behind Manchester City.

I think Arsenal is still far behind Manchester City, but I think they can come up to them more swiftly.

Arsenal supporters are hoping that Rice will stand with McCoist and oppose any trade including Manchester United.

Arteta’s club should continue to advance and may be in a stronger position going into the future season based on the ages of their best players.

Granit Xhaka’s upcoming exit has opened up the perfect spot for Rice in the team.

As long as his asking price doesn’t increase significantly, Arsenal will hope they are in the best position to convince him to sign with their squad.
