“Had ‘no luck’ once again” – Xavi reacts to Barcelona’s draw against Man United
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has commented on his team’s Europa League play-off matchup against Manchester United.
The draw has angered the Catalan, who calls it the “worst draw” and that Barcelona has been given the “most tough opponent.”
Barcelona will face Manchester United in February for a berth in the round of 16 after Monday’s draw.
After finishing behind Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in their Champions League group, Barcelona was demoted to the Europa.
And Xavi claims that his team has once again had “no success.”
“It’s once again the most challenging foe. But we will anticipate it,” Xavi reportedly told reporters, as quoted by Metro.
