Havertz hits out at Chelsea over Thomas Tuchel sacking
Kai Havertz, a forward for Chelsea, has criticized the team for dismissing Thomas Tuchel and charged that they acted fast.
After the team lost to Dinamo Zagreb, Leeds, and Southampton in the Champions League, Tuchel was fired.
The final straw for Todd Boehly in regards to Tuchel was the loss against Dinamo Zagreb.
Boehly’s harshness was believed to have startled Tuchel, and Havertz, who under Tuchel had the best run of his Chelsea career, claimed to be shocked by the dismissal as well.
He said to Kicker, “Me too” (it surprised me). especially when you take into account our performance over the past 1.5 years and the victories we’ve had.
“With our team currently sitting in sixth position in the table, you can’t say that the season has gotten off to a bad start, especially because we have a lot of new players who must first adjust. However, football is a very fast-paced sport, and anything can happen at any time.
“Our new coach has made a wonderful first impression, and our team is outstanding. I anticipate a fun time ahead of us.
