“He has failed to deliver” Chelsea offer £33million star in adeal to sign Barcelona star
In a planned deal to capture Franck Kessie from Barcelona, Chelsea has reportedly made Hakim Ziyech an offer of £33 million, according to the Spanish media site Sport.
Since moving to Chelsea from Ajax in 2020, the 29-year-old Moroccan international has been inconsistent in his performance.
Chelsea is still trying to sign a central midfielder this month despite adding six players during the January transfer window.
Chelsea is prepared to use Ziyech as bait in a deal to sign Kessie, an Ivory Coast international, according to Sport through Metro.
Kessie, 26, was acquired by Barcelona from AC Milan last summer, but he hasn’t seen much action at the Nou Camp, starting just two La Liga games.
Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Ziyech, who has disappointed since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2020 for £33 million from Ajax.
