“He is a fantastic footballer and has developed into a leader” – Joe Cole praise 24 year old Chelsea star
Joe Cole, a former player for Chelsea, has praised Mason Mount as a brilliant footballer and said he has grown into a leader.
The 24-year-old has had a challenging season so far, and in Chelsea’s tie with West Ham, he was content to sit on the bench.
Cole said of Mason Mount: “I believe he’s a wonderful player and he’s so vital for the club on and off the field. It’s been well documented what I think of him. When he plays, he has transformed into a leader in my eyes.
“I consider Mason Mount’s performances to be beautiful since they never go below a seven. I believe he performs the fundamentals pretty well; he is really intelligent.
Mason Mount “has played a lot of football, but I don’t have an issue with him. I believe he’s going to play a huge role for Chelsea in this last stretch of the season.”
He was outstanding against Man City in the championship game, so he will be eager to compete again.
