“He is different” – Walcott names England star to nullify Mbappe
Theo Walcott, a former Arsenal star, claimed that England defender Kyle Walker’s physicality would make it difficult for France’s star player, Kylian Mbappe, to compete.
With their round of sixteen match against Senegal coming up on Sunday, England is already looking forward to playing France in the World Cup quarterfinals in Qatar.
Bookmakers predict that Senegal won’t prevent England from moving on while France will easily defeat Australia in the following round.
The PSG star has already scored three goals in three games, and Mbappe has been predicted to be the most dangerous player in Qatar.
“I’d be thrilled to see it. If Walker should man-mark Mbappe, Walcott responded, “I truly would.
If I’m being completely honest, I think Mbappe would struggle against Walker’s physicality.
It would thus be a fantastic test. We all want to see it, I believe.
Because Mbappe is a different beast and is currently playing at a different level, “I couldn’t tell you who would win that.”
