Former Chelsea star, Cesc Fabregas, recently disclosed his early recognition of Mohamed Salah’s exceptional talent. Both players shared the Stamford Bridge field during Jose Mourinho’s second managerial stint.

Despite Salah’s stint at Chelsea, he struggled to secure regular playing time and was subsequently loaned out to Fiorentina and AS Roma before eventually making a permanent move to Liverpool.

Speaking on the Planet Premier League podcast, Fabregas praised Salah, describing him as a special talent with a commendable work ethic and a positive mentality. Reflecting on their time together, Fabregas acknowledged Salah’s speed and ability to exploit spaces but noted that he has since become stronger and more prolific in front of goal.

Fabregas attributed Salah’s success to the player’s belief in his talent and the opportunities he found at Liverpool, emphasizing the importance of chances and someone believing in a player. Fabregas reminisced about Salah’s loan spell at Fiorentina, highlighting a memorable solo goal that showcased the Egyptian’s abilities and left his former Chelsea teammates in awe.
