“He was all over me and the toughest defender have ever faced” – AC Milan’s Leao talks on Chelsea Star
Reece James of Chelsea is the toughest defender Rafael Leao of AC Milan has ever encountered in his illustrious career.
Leao claimed that during their UEFA Champions League match last week, James was all over him.
Recall that Leao failed to stop AC Milan from winning at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea defeated the Serie A winners 3-0.
Leao said Somtosport, “[Reece] James is a good player; he was all over me and everywhere at the same time, and he timed his runs extremely well.
“I don’t often comment about the other players, but I think this guy is the hardest I’ve faced.
He also scored a goal against us, which is unusual for a defender to accomplish. It was never anticipated that the competition would be simple, so all we have to do now is concentrate and finish in a strong position.
