HERE WE GO: Midfielder in London to undergo Chelsea medical after agreement is reached with club
Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos is now in London for his Chelsea medical in preparation for a deal to Stamford Bridge, according to reputable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old midfielder will be transferred to the Blues by Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, and Chelsea has also agreed to personal terms with the teenager.
Vasco do Gama will receive a set fee of €12.5 million from Chelsea in exchange for the transfer of Santos to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are anticipated to announce Santos’ signing in a formal statement very shortly.
Romelu Lukaku, a record-breaking Chelsea acquisition, has indicated he wants to go permanently to Inter Milan from Chelsea.
One year after re-signing for Chelsea for a club-record £98 million cost, the Belgian forward returned to Inter last summer on a $8 million loan agreement.
Lukaku said in a statement to Sky Sports Italia: “I spoke to Chelsea about my relationship with the coach and I made the decision to return to Inter. Things moved quickly, and I’m content.
“Inter is everything to me, so I wish to stay at Inter. But we must work out a solution with Chelsea.
