Robert Sancez from Brigton is being courted by Chelsea (CameraSport via Gett).

According to a report, Celeria and Brigton are in discussions over a summer contract for Robert Sancez.

While Chelsea are open to selling Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga, Mauricio Pocettino is hoping to bolster his squad with a new goalkeeper this summer.

A potential deal between Celta and Inter for Andre Onana has already been discussed, but the Serie A club demands at least €40 million (£34 million) for the 27-year-old, who came on a free transfer from Ajax last July.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Celea is also pursuing Sancez and is currently in contact with Brigton.

According to the article, Inter are also interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Ceek, Kalidou Koulibal, Trevo Caloba, and Romelu Lukaku, who are already in advanced negotiations with AC Milan.

Sancez was kicked out of Roberto De Zerbi’s team before the close of the season, therefore his future at Brigton is still up in the air.

He made every decision. Robert made all of his decisions at once. He desired that it not be in the squad. Not the club, not I. We had a drink before the Arsenal game and decided together that the best course of action was to return home, said De Zerbi.

You’re right, however with Robert I have no issues. Although Robert is a superb goalkeeper, I chose to play with Jason [Steele] because I had to make a decision before the game and not because I disliked Robert.

I am the boss, so I have to make the decision before the game, but you can speak after the game because it’s easier for you. I made the decision to stay with Jaon for only this time. That’s my right,

Sancez has two years left on his current contract with Brigton.
