Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku has confirmed his impending move to Italian club Roma. The transfer is structured as a loan arrangement without any obligation for a purchase, which will result in Lukaku reuniting with Mourinho, his former coach from their time together at Manchester United.
However, as reported by HLN, the striker, who is currently situated in Belgium, is experiencing a sense of “anxiety” ahead of his anticipated transfer. While attending a youth tournament where his son Romeo was participating for Anderlecht, Lukaku expressed his feelings, stating, “I am feeling nervous. Tomorrow, I’ll be flying to Rome to finalize the signing.”
Lukaku’s future with Chelsea appears uncertain, as he is not included in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for the upcoming season. As a result, he has been engaged in training sessions with Chelsea’s Under 21 squad.
