“i I’m relieved” – Man Utd forward, Mason Greenwood
Mason Greenwood, a forward for Manchester United, expressed his relief with the dismissal of the attempted rape and assault allegations brought against him.
The arrest of Greenwood, 21, in January of last year followed claims including pictures and videos.
The Crown Prosecution Service clarified on Thursday that the charges against Greenwood were dropped after significant witnesses withdrew.
Greenwood did, however, make a brief statement following the news in which she expressed her relief that the problem was finally resolved and her gratitude to her friends, family, and loved ones for their support.
“At this time, no other remark will be made.”
