According to Foot Mercato and L’Equipe, 21-year-old Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has declined the opportunity to join Chelsea.
Onana, a Belgian international who just competed in the Qatar World Cup, reportedly turned down an offer from Chelsea to join them.
The remainder of the season, Onana would rather stay at Everton, according to Belgian writer Sacha Tavolieri.
Onana merely joined Liverpool for £33.5 million in early August, having only previously joined Lille, and he doesn’t want to leave again so soon.
In 18 Premier League games for Everton, Onana has one goal and five yellow cards to show for his troubles.
