“If you can’t pay £70m we are not selling” – Chelsea tell club interested in signing Chelsea £80,000 per week star

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea aren’t willing to negotiate the transfer fee for Mason Mount and are demanding Manchester United pay £70million for the England international or forget about signing him.

Chelsea are demanding £70million for Mount to join Manchester United this summer despite the England international having just one year left on his contract.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United believe £50million is a fair price for Mount.

Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in Mount but there is a growing confidence that he will sign for United with Erik ten Hag earmarking him for the key ‘number eight’ role to provide more dynamism to the midfield. Mount is versatile and can play an even more attacking role, also, which adds to his appeal.
