“I’m Ready to take over” – Former Premier League manager has shown interest in replacing Graham Potter as Chelsea manager
According to The Sun, should Graham Potter be fired as manager due to a poor run of results, former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino will be interested in the Chelsea position.
At Stamford Bridge, pressure on Potter has increased as a result of a sequence of six losses in the past nine games in all competitions.
Due to their recent bad luck, Chelsea is currently 10th in the Premier League and has been eliminated from both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
The club’s owners are reportedly willing to give Potter more time to oversee a turnaround in results, but a terrible performance against Fulham could make them rethink their decision.
Since departing PSG at the end of the previous campaign after guiding the French powerhouse to the Ligue 1 championship, Pochettino has been without a job.
