“I’m really disappointed for him” – Ten Hag confirms Man Utd striker to miss Omonia game
Anthony Martial won’t play for Manchester United on Thursday when they take on Omonia in the Europa League, according to manager Erik ten Hag.
Martial will not play in this match after being substituted against Everton last weekend.
The Frenchman has already had three separate injuries this year.
Ten Hag stated, “I’ve talked to him about that a lot, and I’m genuinely disappointed for him.
“From the quality, he played well in every minute he was on the field, including Sunday when he assisted Antony and the pressing was good. He was a key player and did well.”
However, he obviously fell out, which is terrible for both him and the team. When a player isn’t accessible, it’s disheartening, especially with so many upcoming games. I want every player to be present.
