Thierry Henry, a former player for Arsenal, expressed surprise that Christian Pulisic, a star for Chelsea, remained at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Under his former manager, Thomas Tuchel, the USA international has had trouble getting into games this season.
During the summer, Manchester United and Newcastle were rumored to be interested in the 23-year-old.
However, the winger chose to remain at Stamford Bridge, and Henry expressed his confusion at the circumstance.
Henry told CBS Sports, “I think by now we would have known if he could play.”
He has a very lengthy history with Chelsea. Christian Pulisic was supposed to depart, in my opinion. He should have left, I believe. He didn’t, though.
It’s done. Up until the World Cup, that will be the situation. He must figure out how to have fun. He is facing Raheem Sterling.
