“I’m worried for him, I don’t see how he will play for this team” – Carragher tells Chelsea star

Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, is concerned about Christian Pulisic’s health now at Chelsea.

The 24-year-old American’s potential ineligibility for Qatar’s hosting of the World Cup worries the former England star.

Despite Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal as Chelsea manager, the USA international has battled to find his form and has not been selected to open a game for the Blues this year.

Wednesday night’s 3-0 Champions League victory by Chelsea over AC Milan did not include Pulisic as a substitute.

When asked about the American’s predicament at Stamford Bridge during a CBS Sports interview, Carragher responded, “Where we have been with him in terms of his Chelsea career over the last two years.

But thus far, we haven’t seen much of him. Graham Potter is still a young player, although Thomas Tuchel didn’t utilize him often. Certainly not in these early games under the new boss.

“So, in terms of the World Cup, I think it’s a little bit concerning for America. He doesn’t appear to be in his finest form.

“I just don’t see how he’s going to get the games,” the author said. “I think it’s incredibly troubling for him.”
