“Is Now Confirmed” Zidane to Chelsea links confirmed; “We Text each other” former Chelsea player confirms
Links between Zidane and Chelsea have been proven; a former Chelsea player who said they text each other says that Zidane may join Chelsea even after Potter began having success.
The strain is mounting on Potter quickly, I’m afraid, and if he loses to Leicester City, the two victories he has already earned would be overshadowed by the pressure from the previous matches lost.
Whilst this was happening, Zinedine Zidane was mentioned as one of the possible successors who may step in if Potter was fired.
Frank Leboeuf, a former Chelsea player, teamed up with Zidane while they were both playing for France, and they remain in contact now. Leboeuf said he just texted Zidane about these rumors in his exclusive piece for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea.

He said: “I spoke this week on ESPN about Zinedine Zidane possibly being interested in managing Chelsea. Well, everyone would be interested to be the coach of one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’m sure Zidane was wondering whether he wanted to be the Chelsea coach or not. I don’t know if there was a real offer from Chelsea. I think he would be a fantastic coach and I really hope he comes.
“Myself and Zidane text each other about it recently but it’s not something I can reveal in public.
“But right now, I think it’s not a question of whether next year Zidane is going to be here or not, it’s a question of what is going to happen until the end of the season and if Graham Potter is going to stay or not.”
