“It Over My Chelsea chapter is closed” – Chelsea player tells Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino

Romelu Lukaku, a striker for Chelsea, reportedly informed Mauricio Pochettino that his time at Chelsea was up and that he wanted to remain at Inter Milan at any costs, according to the Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lukaku struggled to make an impression in his first season at Chelsea after moving from Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 for a then-club record £98 million.

The Belgian striker didn’t want to go back to Chelsea last summer and instead went back on loan to Inter Milan.

Frank Leboeuf, a former Chelsea player, has encouraged the club to replace Romelu Lukaku with Aleksandar Mitrovic of Fulham and to sell the Belgian striker.

Leboeuf thinks Mitrovic has the appropriate attitude to play for Chelsea after he scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League games for Fulham this season.

“We need a striker, and I think we need someone like Aleksandar Mitrovic from Fulham would work,” Leboeuf stated in a Si & Dan Talk Chelsea column.

Mitrovic “would rearrange the dressing room because he has a real mindset. I believe that Mitrovic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both that kind of person; he has a winning mentality.

“I enjoy soldering. Those guys never waver, never relent, and always deal with the situation head-on. My favorite. He has performed admirably for Fulham, and joining Chelsea wouldn’t need him to travel very far.
