“It was madness” – Arteta reacts to Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Bournemouth

The 3-2 victory against Bournemouth was referred to as “madness” by Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal.

The Gunners defeated the Cherries at the Emirates after falling down by two goals, maintaining their five-point lead at the top of the standings.

The hosts took a startling 2-0 lead with to goals from Phillip Billing and Marcos Senesi, but Arteta’s team rallied with goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White, and Reiss Nelson.

“From the very first moment, it was insane. We persisted in trying, and we won the game. We gradually ascended the peak that lay before us.

“We were driven to go for the first goal. The mood altered after that. Due to an injury, Reiss Nelson hasn’t had many opportunities to play. He enters the stage and delivers that performance. It was amazing to feel the emotions together with the audience. We’re going to remember it,” Arteta said to BBC MOTD.
