Willian acknowledged that his return to Stamford Bridge was unique and praised the Chelsea supporters for their warm welcome.
Willian participated for 75 minutes as Fulham and Chelsea drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge.
It was an important night, Willian told Sky Sports. Both with and without the ball, we did well. Perhaps we deserved a little bit more, but a point is still good.
“Coming here and playing Chelsea is difficult. They have an excellent team.
“It felt great to be back at the Bridge on that night. I stayed here for seven years and was really content.
“I’m thrilled to be at Fulham. We must continue in the same direction. We still have a lot to work on.
“The Chelsea fans gave us a fantastic reception. They have my utmost regard. It was incredible.
