JUST IN: Chelsea board takes decision on bringing Thomas Tuchel back to Stamford Bridge

The Chelsea board continues to support Graham Potter and believes that Thomas Tuchel’s return to Stamford Bridge is improbable.

With his team’s 1-0 Premier League loss to Southampton last weekend, Potter is under intense pressure at the west London club.

Potter’s team is presently 11 points behind fourth-place Tottenham in the Premier League standings.

After the loss to Southampton, there were demands from supporters and some football analysts for Chelsea to fire Potter.

A portion of Chelsea supporters believe that firing the former head coach of Paris Saint-Germain last September was a mistake, and they have already shouted Tuchel’s name during matches this season.

According to the Evening Standard, Potter is said to have the support of the Chelsea leadership and is the best coach to change the climate at Stamford Bridge.

According to the article, Tuchel’s return to Chelsea is “impossible” since the club’s administrators “got disenchanted” with his methods when he was there.
