Despite many rumours claiming otherwise, transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano asserts Chelsea have not actually contacted Benfica about signing Enzo Fernandez.
Despite having a proposal rejected by Benfica earlier this month, the Blues are still keen in signing Fernandez.
I’ve been informed that Benfica’s current stance is still €120 million or nothing. There haven’t been any direct talks yet, so let’s see if Chelsea tries again, Romano told CaughtOffside.
Amid interest from Chelsea, Moises Caicedo, a midfielder for Brighton, has reportedly changed agents, according to Romano.
Moisés Caicedo is still on the list, along with other players; no decision has been made yet, said Romano.
“Now that Caicedo has new representation, Arsenal and Liverpool are also aware of the circumstances. Of course, Chelsea has been pursuing Caicedo for weeks and they are still interested in signing him. Brighton’s desire to retain the player is the main concern.
