JUST IN: Ronaldo names his world’s best striker

Former Brazil great Ronaldo has cited fellow countryman Gabriel Jesus as one of the top scorers in the world right now.

When Brazil plays Cameroon in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final Group G match on Friday night, Ronaldo expressed confidence that Jesus can end his protracted goal drought.

Jesus, who cost Arsenal £45 million when he transferred from Manchester City, has completely changed the team’s assault this year.

Prior to Brazil’s match against Cameroon, Ronaldo declared Jesus to be a friend and said they had discussions.

Jesus joined us for supper, stayed by my side, and I got to meet his small daughter, which was the most beautiful thing, according to Ronaldo (via UOL).

He is a really good buddy of mine, and we have been communicating for a long time. We shared ideas. A truly unique boy.

I was talking to him and comforting him. He is indeed enjoying a fantastic year at Arsenal.

Gabriel is one of the top attackers in the world right now, and he’s far more experienced than he was in 2018.

You shouldn’t give this worry any thought because the aim will come naturally. All he needs to do is enter the field and perform his skill set.
